Diwali Again!!

Yes Diwali was yesterday and we did have a potluck.
And yeah it was not as bad as I thought. We had a festive menu.. and dressed up in indian cloths, it was more than I expected that we would enjoy.
Avi was very happy seeing the flower pot. he wanted to hold the fire itself for the kakarotthi(susurbatti). It was fun seeing him enjoy it.
i realise motherhood is about enjoying just seeing the smile on your kids face...
It was a lovely night with lamps and crackers. Hope we enjoy the same every year....
